Melesha O'Garro aka Birmingham based MC Lady Leshurr has been dropping tracks and mixtapes since 2009. However, she suddenly went viral in 2015 with her Queen's Speech series of freestyle raps on YouTube, reaching in excess of 11 million hits. Influenced by the likes of Lisa Maffia, Ms Dynamite, Missy Elliott and Lil Wayne, the Midlander's blend of grime and cheeky lyrics has seen her gain fans and critical praise from The Guardian to Spin magazine.
