Ealing Jazz Festival

Mattock Ln, London, W5 5EQ

Description

The Ealing Jazz Festival continues a legacy dating back to 1984, presenting a weekend that blends heritage with bold, contemporary programming and global influence.
Saturday opens with an upbeat, groove-led programme on The Hokum, where acid jazz and danceable sets build energy across the day. In the Big Top, a collaboration with Continental Drifts brings Afrobeat, world music and high-impact live performance.

On Sunday, The Hokum showcases an eclectic mix of global sounds and emerging talent, reflecting the diversity and evolution of modern jazz, whilst the Big Top is curated in collaboration with Banger Factory Records. Founded by trumpeter and Jazz FM Instrumentalist of the Year Mark Kavuma, the label brings a bold, high-energy line-up that captures the spirit of today’s jazz scene – vibrant, boundary-pushing and resonating with a new generation of audiences.
