Ed O’Brien is best known as the guitarist of Radiohead, one of the most influential bands in modern rock. Beyond the band, he has spent the last several years quietly building a body of solo work rooted in introspection, texture, and emotional risk.

Blue Morpho is O’Brien’s second solo album, and first under his own name on Transgressive Records. Produced with Paul Epworth and Riley MacIntyre, mixed by Ben Baptie, it’s a deeply personal record born out of the darkest period of O’Brien’s life. This is a map of one man finding his way back to himself, featuring contributions from Dave Okumu, Shabaka Hutchings, ESKA and string arrangements from Tõnu Kõrvits.

Now, experience the full album from start to finish, played back in stunning 360° spatial audio. Every guitar line, every breath, every shimmering synth pad surrounds you completely.

Close your eyes. This is what going into the dark and coming out the other side sounds like.
